There Ain't No Justice

Product Description

There Ain't No Justice portrays the life of New Jersey Assistant Prosecutor, Joshua Gordon, who is assigned the daunting task of convincing a jury that Jesse Springfield, a poor country girl, was raped by Robert Anderson, an honored war veteran.

From his poverty stricken, troubled childhood and abusive older brother, to his middle class suburban adulthood, Josh did what no other Gordon before him could do: He got out.

With four children and no husband, his mother, Sadie Gordon, taught her children love, life-skills and most importantly, survival. Follow Josh as he shoots his way out of the slums with a basketball scholarship that took him places he could only dream of as a poor boy in Brownsville, Brooklyn.

Josh's never-ending pursuit of justice is molded by his daily relationships, and the influence each has on his conscience.

Haunted by a torturous past, Josh battles his own demons as he seeks redemption from the slums of Brownsville, Brooklyn and the broken life he left behind. Faced with a biased judge, an incompetent doctor and damning defense evidence, Josh must overcome all odds and get the conviction he desperately needs for justice to be served for Jesse...and himself.

About the Author

Norman started writing when he first began practicing law as an Assistant County Prosecutor in New Jersey. From that literary start, he has written six novels and five plays. Two have been produced in Philadelphia, and he is currently working with the Playroom Theatre in New York for a production of “A Class Act.”

Whether on stage or in text, Norman portrays each character with such vigor, the audience experiences all of the emotions, trials and tribulations that each one is immersed in.

After an adventure in moving to Paris, Norman teamed up with his wife, Arleen, to give us Under Paris Rooftops. This is a fun, easy to read modern day love story. Arleen’s love of Paris, and Norman’s love of her, bring us a “his and her portrayal” of what it was like to buy a piece of Paris while maneuvering through the foreign banking and legal systems.

Look for another new release entitled Somebody’s Gotta Sit on the Bench, to be released in the spring of 2016. With thrilling interlacing plots, this new novel is sure to keep the reader riveted with anticipation.
