Independent publishers need a distributor who understands that today's book market requires a mix of traditional book distribution and marketing with cutting edge services and processes. Seattle Book Company can help you get your book into the market and provide complimentary services to ensure your success.

Trade Distribution

At the core of book distribution is getting your titles into the major retailers such as Amazon and Barnes & Noble and getting them listed with the major wholesalers such as Ingram to facilitate sales to all book retailers across the country and internationally. Our personal relationship with these major industry players is key to making your book available in the market.

Warehousing and Fulfillment

Our publishers’ books are securely and safely stored in our distribution center to limit freight expense and reduce loss from handling. As orders are received, from either our trade accounts or directly from the publisher, the books are picked and packed by our dedicated shipping team.

Most orders are shipped within 1-2 business days, with same day shipping available for most titles. Special packaging and handling is available to make your titles stand-out from everyday shipments.

Print-On-Demand and Offset Printing

We offer state-of-the-art On-Demand printing to let you reduce your inventory investment. As orders are received, we print high quality books on a variety of book papers which are not available from most available other POD printers. Our POD process includes back text and full-color books, in both soft and hard cover, at competitive prices.

For books with higher sales levels, our parent company can produce longer runs on offset printing equipment. Offset printing offers lower cost on print runs over about 750 copies than our POD processes.
