Once upon a time there was a wild Texas cottontail. She dreamed of a better life, a charmed life. One special lady would make her dreams come true, a carrot lady. A heartwarming relationship formed between human and rabbit and they developed a remarkable bond of mutual need and respect. The carrot lady realizes that life is too short and she should cherish each day just as the rabbit did. What would you do if every moment of every day could be your last? It was time to live in the moment, the moment of Mister.
Mister and her carrot lady, JB Bean, invite you through the garden gate to experience the enchanting memoir of Mister, an incredible wild bunny who captured the hearts of the world. Mister had achieved the unimaginable and she had created a legacy. She was not insignificant. Mister was wild and free, and she had been loved.
Read all about Mister’s Garden, passionately told by Mister in her own words. Her story will make you smile and it may make you cry. Whimsical and endearing, Mister will warm your heart.
JB Bean currently resides in the Dallas Texas area and she was originally a native Californian from the San Francisco Bay Area. Her career took her into a technical sales direction which is quite the opposite of her passions in life. She has always been a lover of nature and animals, especially cats since she was a small child. She has volunteered for a local cat and dog rescue group for years, helping them out with photography and administrative work. Having a creative mind, she has been a cat blogger for years and always thought she would write her first book about cats. Her literary debut, however, is all about the story of a tiny wild rabbit that hopped into her garden and changed her way of thinking and about living her life. JB enjoys amateur photography, especially of nature’s creatures and belongs to a local photography club. She has an artistic family history and likes collecting unique art work. She has traveled quite a bit for pleasure and adventure taking many exciting trips to various countries around the world, always with a camera in hand wherever she lands. JB also loves to stay home and relax with her cats and a glass of her favorite Chardonnay.

I think this book is important because most people have taken wild rabbits (or just rabbits in general) for granted. They are small animals, true, but very socially interactive and intelligent. Rabbits have a complex social structure that was revealed in this book; as well as emotions that are similar to our own in depth.
I am so glad that this information was researched and revealed in this book.

I absolutely love this book, this story and the incredible relationship that Mister and her offspring have with the Carrot Lady, in Mister's Garden. Absolutely amazing story of the relationship between Mister, and her family of wild cottontail rabbits, and one womans love for them. Heartwarming and inspiring. I can not thank the Carrot Lady enough for sharing this incredible story with us all. Follow "Mister The Bunny" on Facebook for daily updates on this ongoing relationship, as I do.

the content: 5/5 This book is a wonderful tribute to Mister and her legacy of spritlets, complete with great photos and compelling story. I am very happy to have such a book to flip through and enjoy. Go follow the carrot lady on Facebook for more!
packaging and shipping: 0/5 As a paperback, this book should NOT have been sent in a soft padded envelope. As a result, it was curled up in my mailbox and permanently damaged. For a $30 paperback, this is unacceptable. You're probably better off buying it on Amazon.
