The age-old land of Brendonia has seen its share of wars and resolutions, but never has it had its center pushed beneath the sea!
Castle Brendonia, the strength and order of the land, is now separated by water from an unpredictable group of people: the druids.
Unknown to King Hestin of Brendonia and his people, the evil druid Bernac and his five vates are transforming the druid culture into a mindless army of druids called bardes. Already in control of upper Brendonia, it was only a matter of time until Bernac attacked the people of the lower region.
Now a land doomed to be taken over by druids, only the lone god, Pantos, seemed to care enough to try changing Brendonia's fate. Standing against his own kind and risking his immortality, Pantos creates something forbidden by the gods: a child.
A mystery even to himself, young Glantis Trefmore is burdened with an odd upbringing, an unexplainable foster father, and questions about where he came from. Like many young boys, Glantis dreams of joining the Brendonian army to find purpose in his life, but it is what he finds in himself that guides him on an unimaginable journey.
Meanwhile, all of Brendonia needs saving...
